Washington’s Downtown Holiday Market is an annual outdoor shopping “village” which supports local small businesses and entrepreneurs. This year, the market is an especially great way to shop local while still remaining socially distant!
The Downtown Holiday Market just opened this weekend (November 20) and is open until Christmas Eve eve (December 23) from noon to 8pm. This year they have established extra safety precautions, such as wider aisles to allow for socially distant shopping. Of course, do not forget your face mask!!
Visitors are asked to follow the designated one-way path to avoid congested walkways. It’s laid out in a loop, so it’s not much of an inconvenience – just follow the circle and you won’t miss anything!
The market features 60 booths with exhibitors selling art, clothing, crafts, and more. Local musicians of various genres perform at the market, so you can enjoy some live music while you shop!
For more information on the market visit their website here. Happy holidays everyone and stay safe!

I loved this market and the mini doughnuts last year! I’m glad to see they’re taking precautions.
